Ink.Stamp.Share Blog Hop - Pre-order

Hello!!! It's been a while since I joined the Ink.Stamp.Share monthly blog hop, so welcome!

This month's theme is Pre-order. It's an exciting time in the Stampin' Up calendar. The new annual catalogue has gone live this week and as demonstrators, we get early access to the new goodies. Not only has the annual catalogue gone live but as Stampin' Up are celebrating 35 years, we've been treated to a colour refresh too. This means that whilst some of the core colours and last years In Colours have retired, we have some brand new core colours together with some returning colours and 5 new In Colours for 2023-2025.

So, as the theme for this month's hop is pre-order, I decided to play with one of our new bundles - Timeless Arrangements. I am LOVING this bundle! Not only does it include some beautiful sentiments, it includes some fabulous dies to allow you to make some beautiful flower arrangements.

For my card, I used Blackberry Bliss, Old Olive and one of the brand new In Colours - Wild Wheat. I used Blackberry Bliss for my standard card base and as a matting layer measuring 10.1cm x 14.5cm. I then embossed this using the Timeworn Type embossing folder and adhered to the card base using multipurpose liquid glue.

Using the second largest scallop die, I die cut a piece of vellum to soften the matting layer. From the Timeless Arrangements dies, I die cut the foliage from Blackberry Bliss, Wild Wheat and Old Olive.  From a piece of Basic White cardstock, I die cut the largest stitched label die from the bundle and then chose my sentiment and stamped in Blackberry Bliss. The great thing about the foliage dies...they're die cut as a strip, so it makes layering them really easy! I then adhered these to the label die cut and tucked in some of the individual foliage dies in Vellum, Blackberry Bliss and Old Olive. I added dimensionals to the back and layered on the scalloped vellum and then adhered this to the card with liquid glue behind the sentiment layer so the adhesive isn't seen.

To finish the card off, I added a bow using our new Wild Wheat textured ribbon and 2023-2025 In Color Dots. I hope you like the card.
