Ink Stamp Share Monthly Hop July 2023 - Colour Challenge

Hello, hello! 

Welcome to the Ink Stamp Share blog hop. This month's theme is a colour challenge. The colours for the challenge have been selected from our new core colours.

I saw the colours and thought, oh ho, what am I going to make with these colours even though they coordinate beautifully?! Then I decided to do something I don't normally do - I made a stamped one sheet wonder on a piece of A4 Basic White cardstock.  I'll confess now, I forgot to take a picture before I cut it to make the cards, but you can see what it looked like and the measurements for the cuts I used:

I used all 4 colours on the one sheet wonder, stamping with the Textured Floral stamp set. I used Lemon Lolly with the largest flower first, to lay down some texture in the background.  I also used the largest flower in Bubble Bath. I added the leaves (small and medium) in Granny Apple Green and a smaller flower in Berry Burst, for a pop of colour. And to  add some texture to the background, which you can only really see close up, I stamped some dottage from the set in Bubble Bath too.

I kept the cards fairly simple. They were all made using Basic White Thick cardstock in standard size. With some matting layers in Berry Burst. All the sentiments and foliage came from the Textured Floral stamp and die sets. And here are the cards I made from the stamped sheet, using the measurements in the diagram above:

I die cut the foliage from a range of Granny Apple Green, Vellum and Berry Burst to add some texture and depth around the sentiments.

Again, I die cut the foliage from scraps of Granny Apple Green, Vellum, Bubble Bath and Berry Burst cardstock. I was also cheeky and added some Lemon Lolly punched using the Bough punch, to the card on the right.

So 7 cards in total from sheet of A4. You could easily get more out, if you cut some of the bigger pieces down. What do you think? Have you tried a OSW? Why not give it a go!
